Account Executive


We are looking for a dynamic and ambitious Account Executive to join our rapidly growing sales team. This person must be passionate about evangelizing our values to Fortune 2000 companies while closing pivotal business prospects. This means we need an inspired and experienced strategic thinker who can use their unique personality, creativity and grit to expand our pipeline with high profile customers. You will understand and communicate how Encamp can be best used for each use case and manage complex deal cycles. The ideal candidate also has the opportunity to help build our future Sales team, so we expect a strong go-getter!

What will you be doing here?

  • Drive the full sales cycle to attain new business, developing and maintaining your own pipeline
  • Achieve and consistently exceed monthly, quarterly and yearly sales goals
  • Collaborate with Sales Engineers to draft proposals for clients - factoring in your unique view on their needs, timeline and other factors for their success
  • Source and engage with EHS Directors/Managers and Environmental Program Managers to cultivate and ultimately convert new leads 
  • Convert Inbound leads & SDR sourced deals to closed opportunities

What would make you a strong candidate

  • A top performer with 3-7 years experience hunting and closing net new business 
  • Experienced with creatively sourcing companies outside of your CRM
  • Able to strategically map out and develop unique sales processes
  • Competitive, hungry, and driven sales person
  • Fearless on the phones, and creative in your emails
  • Comfortable working a complex deal cycle 
  • Tech-savvy and navigate sales and other tools quickly, e.g. Salesforce, Outreach, Docusign, Google Docs, LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Experienced carrying a $500,000 Quota

What would be a nice to have?

  • You're a people person who is able to build rapport instantly
  • You've studied or have some familiarity with environmental services
  • You're an excellent communicator and understand how to share observations and ideas
  • You're empathetic and can clearly sympathize with pain points from multiple perspectives
  • You think big. You can pitch a vision and keep folks engaged
  • You've got an appetite for knowledge and are constantly learning from people
  • You're environmentally curious. You keep up to date with the latest trends in the space and they drive you to learn more
