Software Engineer


We are looking for a front-end focused engineer who is comfortable dipping into a full-stack role occasionally. This role would range from developing small frontend components to designing and building out entire product features. Our stack is built using Django and Vue and deployed on Heroku.

What you will need:

  • 2+ years of web development experience
  • Experience with Javascript frameworks (Vue preferred but React or Angular experience applies)
  • Experience writing custom stylesheets and an eye for user experience design is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of software design principles
  • Backend/full-stack experience is a plus, especially Django
  • Ability and willingness to come to the table with your own ideas and take the initiative to develop solutions in a fast-paced startup environment

  • Builds features that will deploy quickly and be robust to iterations that expand functionality
  • Finds and brings in outside knowledge and best practices to the team
  • Collaborates on prioritization, design, and execution of features
  • Recognizes that their own tasks exist to further overall business goals
  • Identifies problems proactively and communicates them early
